Organizational History

The Town of Westborough was incorporated as the hundredth town in Massachusetts on November 18, 1717, with twenty-seven families living within its borders. In 2017, Westborough celebrated its 300^th anniversary with programs and events scheduled throughout the year.

The Town of Westborough created an official 300^th Anniversary Committee to plan and coordinate the celebration of its 300^th anniversary, but programs and events were co-sponsored with groups throughout the town.
