Organizational History
The Town of Westborough was incorporated as the hundredth town in Massachusetts on November 18, 1717, with twenty-seven families living within its borders. In 2017, Westborough celebrated its 300th anniversary with programs and events scheduled throughout the year.
The Town of Westborough created an official 300th Anniversary Committee to plan and coordinate the celebration of its 300th anniversary, but programs and events were co-sponsored with groups throughout the town.
